Elecom will release the "U3HC-S100SBK," a self-powered 10-port USB hub capable of connecting up to 10 USB-A and USB Type-C devices simultaneously, in late October. It will be priced at ¥9,980. In addition to being compatible with PCs supporting USB Type-C connections, its self-powered design with an included AC adapter ensures stable power supply even when handling multiple devices simultaneously.
A key feature of this product is its seven USB-A ports and three USB Type-C ports, each capable of being individually switched ON/OFF. An access lamp allows for instant confirmation of power status, making it easy to switch between devices like mice, keyboards, USB flash drives, 2.4GHz receivers, and various storage devices depending on their use. It supports USB 5Gbps, enabling data transfer speeds theoretically about 10 times faster than USB 2.0.
The bottom of the unit features powerful magnets with silicone, allowing it to be securely attached to the side of steel desks or other surfaces. This design helps save space while keeping the hub conveniently within reach. The detachable USB cable is approximately 0.8m long, providing a manageable length for easy routing. Its external dimensions are approximately 190mm (W) × 50mm (D) × 21mm (H), and it weighs approximately 372g.
Supported OS include Windows 11/10, macOS Tahoe 26, and iPadOS 26. The power method is self-powered, with a total current supply capacity of up to 9A across all 10 ports. Please note that it does not support charging or video output and is not recommended for charging smartphones or tablets.
