ASUS Japan is set to sequentially release two new 4K OLED gaming monitors from its Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand: the "ROG Swift OLED PG32UCWM" and "ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM." These monitors will be available starting October 23rd at electronics retailers nationwide and through e-commerce sites. The ROG Swift OLED PG32UCWM will retail for 232,920 yen, while the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM will be priced at 205,820 yen. Key highlights of these two models, measuring 31.5 inches and 26.5 inches respectively, include their True RGB stripe array tandem RGB OLED panels and a unique dual mode that allows users to switch between 4K/240Hz and FHD/480Hz resolutions.

Both monitors ditch the white sub-pixels found in conventional WOLED panels, instead adopting a True RGB stripe array. This innovation expands the color volume by up to 27%, particularly at high brightness levels. They boast a wide DCI-P3 99% color gamut, Delta E<2 color accuracy, and 10-bit color support, ensuring crisp and clear text outlines. These specifications make them ideal for users who prioritize color reproduction and visual clarity in both video production and gaming.

For gaming performance, the monitors feature a dual mode that allows instant switching between 4K/240Hz and FHD/480Hz with a simple hotkey press. They deliver an ultra-fast 0.03ms (GTG) response time and support both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. Additionally, the TrueBlack Glossy coating reduces ambient reflections by 38% compared to conventional glossy white OLEDs, ensuring deep blacks even in brightly lit rooms. With a stunning 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, they also support Dolby Vision and are VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certified.

To enhance longevity, these monitors incorporate ASUS OLED CARE PRO, which utilizes GaNFET technology to reduce waste heat by approximately 35% and exhaust port temperature by about 10%, thereby protecting the OLED panel. A Neo proximity sensor detects when a user leaves their seat, automatically switching the screen to black to prevent burn-in. Users can also customize 5 levels of motion sensitivity and set an automatic away timer from 1 to 15 minutes. For connectivity, they are equipped with DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 (80Gbps), two HDMI 2.1 ports, a USB Type-C port with 90W USB Power Delivery, and a USB hub, allowing connection to a wide array of devices including PCs and game consoles.
