EIZO will release its 31.5-inch color management-compatible OLED monitor, the "ColorEdge CG3200X," on December 1st. The price is open, with an EIZO Direct sales price of 495,000 yen. This model is designed for environments requiring high color reproduction accuracy, such as video production and photo editing, and its key feature is the adoption of a QD-OLED panel for the first time in the ColorEdge series.
The CG3200X supports 4K UHD (3840×2160) display and boasts high display performance with a peak brightness of 1000 cd/m², a full-screen white brightness of 300 cd/m², and a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1. It makes it easy to meticulously check HDR content from highlights to dark areas and supports both HLG and PQ HDR gamma methods. Furthermore, it adopts a non-glare, low-reflection AGLR panel, which is said to suppress reflections and ensure stable visibility.

A notable feature is EIZO's newly developed proprietary ABL (Automatic Brightness Limiter) control technology. Traditionally, OLEDs experience increased heat generation and power consumption during high-brightness display, which can trigger ABL to suppress overall screen brightness. However, this model minimizes sudden brightness drops and changes in appearance. Users can choose between "Highlight" and "Full Tone" ABL modes, making it easier to display content according to production intent. In addition, it features ABL Safe View, color fringe removal, and custom contrast settings, designed to meticulously address display challenges specific to OLEDs.
Other features emphasizing usability in production environments include a built-in calibration sensor for periodic correction, 60W power delivery and video transmission via USB Type-C, a Sync Signal function that automatically switches color modes according to the input signal, DisplayPort, USB Type-C, and HDMI input terminals, and an included shading hood. It comes with a 5-year warranty, including a 6-month zero bright pixel warranty from the date of purchase. Furthermore, it is scheduled to be exhibited for the first time in Japan at the EIZO booth during "Inter BEE 2026," held from November 18th to 20th.
