Beef bowl chain Sukiya today, October 14th, began selling various "Roast Pork Bowls."

▲ "Roast Pork Bowl" (Regular) 780 yen, (Large Rice) 830 yen, (Extra Large) 1280 yen, (Mega) 1730 yen

Thinly sliced roast pork is served over rice, combined with a "special soy sauce" made from a soy sauce base blended with grated onion, garlic, and black pepper, along with shredded green onions.

● Last Year's Hit: "Roast Beef Bowl"

In November 2025, Sukiya launched the "Roast Beef Bowl," which used beef. It was so well-received that it became scarce and garnered enough popularity to temporarily suspend sales.

This time, it's the "Roast Pork Bowl," using pork instead of beef. Starting from 780 yen for the regular size, the more affordable price compared to the Roast Beef Bowl is also a welcome point.

● Slowly Low-Temperature Cooked Roast Pork

For the roast pork, pork shoulder loin with a good balance of fat is used. By slowly cooking it at a low temperature, they say it achieves a moist and tender texture.

The textural contrast with the crisp shredded green onions is also said to be a key point.

● Sukiya-Style Variations, Including a Mega Size!

Sukiya's unique variety of menu options are also available.
