Beef bowl chain Yoshinoya will offer Pacific saury menu items, including the "Gyū Sanma Teishoku" (Beef and Pacific Saury Set Meal), for a limited time starting October 8th at 11:00 AM.

Free Rice Refills! The 'Gyū Sanma Teishoku'

Pacific saury, a quintessential autumn delicacy, makes its appearance at Yoshinoya. Using Pacific saury from Hokkaido, the fish is said to be grilled to perfection, crispy and fragrant on the outside, and plump and juicy on the inside.

This set meal combines grilled Pacific saury with Yoshinoya's mini beef bowl (gyū kobachi), rice, and miso soup. For all set meals, rice can be upsized and refilled for free.

A "Sanma Teishoku" (Pacific Saury Set Meal) is also available, allowing you to simply enjoy the grilled Pacific saury without the mini beef bowl. This set includes grilled Pacific saury, rice, miso soup, and pickles (oshinkō).

Additionally, for breakfast menu items, you can change salmon to Pacific saury for an extra 77 yen.

Pacific Saury: A Great Companion for a Drink!

Yoshinoya has previously offered set meals combining Pacific saury and beef. This year, it will be sold nationwide (excluding some stores) as the third installment of the "Yoshinoya Fish Set Meal" series.

While Yoshinoya is strongly associated with beef bowls, it's a pleasant surprise to be able to enjoy Pacific saury, which is perfect for the current season.

Set meals come with free rice upsize and refills! And since Pacific saury can be ordered à la carte, it seems like a great option for a light drink at stores that offer alcoholic beverages!
