In addition to the "Sanma Teishoku" (Pacific Saury Set Meal), which allows you to simply enjoy grilled Pacific saury, the lineup also includes the "Gyu Sanma Teishoku" (Beef and Pacific Saury Set Meal), which combines it with a small beef bowl.

You can eat Pacific saury at Yoshinoya

Beef bowl chain Yoshinoya will be selling Pacific saury menu items, including the "Gyu Sanma Teishoku," for a limited time starting October 8th at 11:00 AM.

Free Rice Refills! The "Gyu Sanma Teishoku"

Pacific saury, a classic autumn delicacy, makes its appearance at Yoshinoya. They reportedly use Hokkaido-sourced saury, grilled to a crispy, fragrant exterior and a plump, juicy interior.

This set meal combines grilled Pacific saury with Yoshinoya's small beef bowl, rice, and miso soup. Rice for the set meal can be upsized or refilled for free.

The "Sanma Teishoku," which allows you to simply enjoy grilled Pacific saury without the small beef bowl, is also available. This set includes grilled Pacific saury, rice, miso soup, and pickles.

Furthermore, for breakfast menu items, you can change salmon to Pacific saury for an additional 77 yen.

Pacific Saury Sounds Good with a Drink!

Yoshinoya has previously offered set meals combining Pacific saury and beef. This year, it will be sold nationwide (excluding some stores) as the third installment of the "Yoshinoya Fish Set Meal" series.

While Yoshinoya is strongly associated with beef bowls, it's a pleasant surprise to be able to enjoy Pacific saury, which is perfect for the current season.

Set meals come with free rice upsize and refills! And since Pacific saury can be ordered à la carte, it seems like a great option for a light drink at stores that offer alcoholic beverages!
