Razer Japan announced on September 24 that Razer has been appointed as the official headset partner for BLAST Premier. This partnership covers the global Counter-Strike 2 tournament series, BLAST Premier, where Razer headsets will be utilized on stage across 12 tournaments held from late 2026 to 2028. The primary product featured will be the competitive gaming headset, the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro.
The BlackShark V3 Pro is a competitive gaming headset engineered to quickly capture critical audio cues such as footsteps, reload sounds, and teammate callouts. It is also designed with comfort for extended wear and noise isolation in mind, and represents the latest model in a series that has undergone continuous improvement based on feedback from professional players. According to Razer, Team Razer athlete Nikola “NiKo” Kovač and others were involved in its development, making fine-tuned adjustments to suit the competitive environment of CS2.
The partnership will commence at "BLAST Premier Rivals Hong Kong," scheduled to take place from November 11 to 15, 2026. Subsequently, Razer's audio technology will be adopted on the BLAST Premier tournament stages across 12 events from late 2026 through 2028.
For over 20 years, Razer has refined its competitive gaming technology alongside professional players. This new collaboration brings that development philosophy to the pinnacle of the CS2 scene. The official announcement also highlighted that, according to a ProSettings.net survey, over 775 professional players use Razer headsets, with the BlackShark series dominating the top usage rates. This partnership with BLAST Premier will once again showcase Razer's proven track record as equipment supporting major tournaments and its player-centric design philosophy.
