NTT East and NTT West announced on September 24th the "Nijisanji Telegram," a congratulatory telegram card featuring Hyakumantenbara Salome and Sophia Valentine from the VTuber group "Nijisanji." It will be released on October 1st, with the card fee priced at 3,069 yen. Additional message fees and other charges will apply.
The card's design is inspired by a party invitation, and features a pop-up mechanism that reveals the two VTubers in splendid dresses on a Western-style mansion balcony when opened. The illustration is an original drawing by artist wata.
It also includes a replicated handwritten message from Hyakumantenbara Salome and Sophia Valentine. Recipients are asked to refrain from sharing the message on social media or video sites, as it is intended for their personal enjoyment only.
The sales period is from approximately 5:00 AM on October 1st to 11:00 PM on October 31st. Sales may end earlier if the planned quantity is reached. The delivery period is until November 30th. Resale, redistribution, or transfer of the product to third parties is prohibited.
NTT East and West also plan to host YouTube streams in conjunction with the product. The aim is to appeal to VTuber fans and promote telegrams as a modern "gift of words."
