How Do You Stream Games? Experience the Full Setup Firsthand

At the AVerMedia Technologies (AVerMedia) booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026, various devices related to game streaming and recording are on display. Not only capture devices, but also microphones and other equipment were set up in a way that makes it easy to visualize an actual streaming environment.

AVerMedia is a video and audio equipment manufacturer founded in Taiwan in 1990. They handle the design and manufacturing of video capture, streaming, and audio products, and since 2012, they have been fully expanding into game-oriented capture, streaming, and audio products. Many who have engaged in game streaming have likely come across the company's capture boards.

The theme at TGS2026 is "Step into the World of Streaming." Visitors can actually experience four types of gaming and streaming styles, ranging from professional game streaming to casual streaming using a tablet, and even PC-free recording.

SF6 in Front of the Mic! Try It While Actually Playing

Inside the booth, a game-play environment with microphones and other equipment set up is available, allowing visitors to actually play "Street Fighter 6." Instead of just looking at individual products, it's great to be able to check out the equipment while imagining "what it would be like if I started game streaming."

On public days, a "Challenge a Pro Gamer!" stage event is also scheduled, where visitors can directly compete against top pro gamers in "Street Fighter 6." It is scheduled to be held twice a day on September 19th and 20th, and once on the 21st.

When it comes to game streaming, beginners often have many concerns, such as "Which capture device should I choose?", "How should I position the microphone?", or "Is it impossible without a PC?". In that regard, being able to play games in front of a complete setup is quite easy to understand.

This booth is recommended for those who "want to start game streaming but don't know what to prepare first." While interacting with the actual streaming environment, visitors are encouraged to explore what style suits them best.
