Mouse Computer announced on September 15th that it will sequentially begin sales of its 12.2-inch mobile notebook PC "mouse X2" series starting from October. Prices start from 199,800 yen, and purchases will be accepted sequentially via the Mouse Computer website, direct stores, G-Tune : Garage Osaka, telephone order hotlines, and corporate sales desks. This new model, featuring a lightweight design, high robustness, and a rich set of functions, targets a wide range of scenarios from campus use to business.
The "mouse X2" series adopts a compact body with a thickness of approximately 19mm and a weight of about 981g. With a top panel load capacity of 100kgf and having cleared quality tests compliant with the MIL-STD-810H military standard, its design prioritizes portability while also considering durability. Furthermore, fan control adjusted to temperature changes enhances quietness, resulting in a finish that is easy to handle even during long hours of use.
The battery life is advertised as 12.5 hours for video playback and 25 hours for idle time. It also features a rich array of interfaces, ensuring connectivity with external devices and supporting a wide range of uses, from online classes and document creation to remote work. Available in three colors: Pearl White, Cosmo Blue, and Frost Gold, the design achieves a sense of unity down to the smallest details, such as adopting color schemes that blend with the main body color for the bottom rubber, hinge parts, and even screws.
The CPU lineup includes three types: AMD Ryzen 5 216, AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 (Copilot+ PC compatible), and AMD Ryzen AI 7 350. The "mouse X2-A5A01CB-A / Cosmo Blue (Copilot+ PC)" equipped with Ryzen AI 5 340, scheduled for sale from October, will be 239,800 yen. The "mouse X2-A7A01FG-A / Frost Gold (Copilot+ PC)" equipped with Ryzen AI 7 350 will be 259,800 yen. From November onwards, the "mouse X2-A5A01PW-A / Pearl White" with Ryzen 5 216 will be available for 199,800 yen. And from December onwards, a limited edition model "mouse X2-A5A01FG-A / Frost Gold (Copilot+ PC)" featured in a new commercial will be sold for 239,800 yen.
