Apple has begun rolling out the latest version of iOS, "iOS 27." We have confirmed that it is available for download on compatible iPhones. Similarly, macOS 27 and other updates have also started distribution, and "iOS 26.7," a security update for iOS 26, has also been released.
The compatible models for iOS 27 are exactly the same as for iOS 26. This means that if an iPhone can run iOS 26, it can also run iOS 27. Specifically, this includes iPhone 11 and later, as well as the second-generation iPhone SE and later.
For new features in iOS 27, please refer to public beta reports, but they include a new Siri AI, enhancements to Apple Intelligence, improvements to Liquid Glass, and faster app launches and AirDrop transfers due to overall OS optimization.
The biggest highlight is the Siri AI available on Apple Intelligence-compatible models.
The "Liquid Glass" feature, which was somewhat unpopular when iOS 26 was released, has also been significantly improved with fixes, and the overall OS code review is also highlighted.
Regarding Siri AI, it will first be available in English. For Japanese, the official announcement states "within the year," and it was introduced as "October" during the Apple Event.
