Elecom is set to sequentially release a total of four accessories—one case and three protective films—for Apple's new iPad mini (A20 Pro), coinciding with its launch on November 6. The product lineup includes the "iPad mini (A20 Pro) Clear Soft Case Lightweight," made from TPU material; the "iPad mini (A20 Pro) Glass Film High Transparency with Application Box" and "iPad mini (A20 Pro) Glass Film High Transparency Blue Light Cut with Application Box," both of which come with an application box for easy installation; and the "iPad mini (A20 Pro) Film High Transparency." Prices for these accessories range from 1,580 yen to 3,280 yen.
The Clear Soft Case is transparent and lightweight, utilizing TPU material that offers greater strength than silicone and more flexibility than plastic. Its design wraps around the screen's edges, helping to mitigate scratches and impacts. Users can also connect cables, take photos, and operate buttons without removing the case. This product is ideal for those who wish to enhance protection without sacrificing the portability of their compatible device.
The two types of glass films feature real glass for a smooth touch experience and are engineered with 10H surface hardness tempered glass to resist scratches. The High Transparency type incorporates rounded edges to minimize catching, and the included application box allows for precise, dust-free installation. The Blue Light Cut type is designed to reduce approximately 40% of blue light emitted by the screen while aiming to minimize color distortion.
The remaining "Film High Transparency" features an airless design with a special adhesive layer, ensuring that air bubbles become less noticeable over time. Individual prices are as follows: "Clear Soft Case Lightweight" for 1,980 yen, "Glass Film High Transparency with Application Box" for 2,980 yen, "Glass Film High Transparency Blue Light Cut with Application Box" for 3,280 yen, and "Film High Transparency" for 1,580 yen.
