Gyudon chain Yoshinoya will hold its "Autumn Gyudon Festival" from October 15 at 11:00 AM to October 21 at 3:00 PM. During this period, eligible items, including "Gyudon," will be offered at ¥100 off their tax-inclusive price (excluding some stores).

The festival applies to "Gyudon," "Gyudon Bento," "Gyu-sara" (beef plate), "Gyu-sara Family Pack," "Various Topping Gyudon," and "Gyudon & Abura Soba Set." All varieties and sizes of these items will be ¥100 off.

The discount applies to both dine-in and takeout orders.

Please note that Asa-gyu Set (Morning Gyudon Set), Gyu-sara Teishoku (Beef Plate Set Meal), Mini Gyudon Set, and Beef Curry are not eligible. Delivery orders are also not included in the discount.

¥50 Off "Gyu-suki Nabe-zen" Coupons Also Distributed

Furthermore, customers who dine in during the campaign period will receive coupons for future use.

20 Years Since That Gyudon Revival!

Since its founding in 1899, Yoshinoya has featured Gyudon as its signature product. However, in 2004, sales of Gyudon were temporarily suspended due to the BSE issue. Later, on September 18, 2006, a one-day "Gyudon Revival Festival" was held to commemorate the resumption of Gyudon sales.

This "Autumn Gyudon Festival" is apparently timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of that "Gyudon Revival Festival."

For those who remember the BSE commotion and the news of Gyudon's return, it's surprising to think, "Has it really been 20 years..."
