NZXT, Inc. announced the "S5 RGB" pillarless PC case for the Japanese market on October 8th. It will be released on October 15th, priced at 8,980 yen. The model number for white is CC-S51FW-01, and for black is CC-S51FB-01. Compatible motherboards include ATX, microATX, and Mini-ITX. Its dimensions are approximately W210 x D423 x H482mm, and it weighs 6.14kg.
The S5 RGB's most significant features are its pillarless design, which showcases the interior, and its diagonally positioned fans, which directly deliver outside air to the graphics card. By angling the fan position at the front bottom, it achieves both efficient cooling around the GPU and aesthetic appeal. It comes standard with a triple-linked single-frame LED fan, integrating three LED fans on the right side, allowing users to enjoy lighting effects immediately after assembly.
It offers ample internal space, supporting graphics cards up to 415mm in length, CPU coolers up to 162mm in height, and power supply units up to 200mm in depth. A liquid cooling radiator up to 360mm can be installed at the top, accommodating a combined fan and radiator thickness of up to 53mm. Furthermore, the front panel and both side panels feature a tool-less design, allowing them to be removed without tools, which makes cable management and maintenance easier.
The interfaces include 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, and 1x 3.5mm mini-jack (4-pole). Drive bays consist of 1x 3.5-inch and 1x 2.5-inch, with 7 expansion slots. Note that the standard LED fans are 4-pin PWM/3-pin 5V universal ARGB LED specification and are not compatible with NZXT CAM.
