Newx will release GIGABYTE's AMD B550 chipset-equipped ATX motherboard, the "B550 X EAGLE WIFI6E," on October 2nd. The estimated market price is 19,500 yen. As a versatile ATX motherboard, it's designed for Ryzen-generation DIY PCs and upgrade purposes.
The B550 X EAGLE WIFI6E adopts an 8+2 digital power phase design and supports Dual Channel DDR4 XMP. For storage, it features one PCIe 4.0 x4 compatible M.2 slot, combining screwless EZ-Latch Plus SSD installation with an EZ-Latch Click heatsink, a design aimed at reducing the hassle of assembly and maintenance. Additionally, a PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 slot is provided, ensuring expandability for various uses.
Communication features are also enhanced, equipped with Realtek 2.5GbE wired LAN, along with Wi-Fi 6E wireless LAN and Bluetooth 5.3. It supports EZ-Plug antennas, making installation easy. For video output, it features an HDMI port and includes USB 3.2 Gen.1 Type-C ports on both the front and rear.
