MSI Computer Japan will begin sales of its new gaming monitor, the "MAG 321UPD E14," on October 1st. The expected price is around 76,800 yen. As a new model in the "MAG" series, which emphasizes high gaming performance and cost-effectiveness, this product is designed to offer versatility, making it easy to use for any game genre with a single unit.
The "MAG 321UPD E14"'s most significant feature is its dual mode, allowing users to switch between 4K UHD at 144Hz and Full HD at 288Hz. This enables users to select the optimal display environment for their needs: 4K for enjoying high-definition visuals in games like RPGs, and Full HD with a high refresh rate for competitive titles like FPS where reaction speed is crucial. Additionally, it includes modes to adjust the screen display to the equivalent of 24.5 inches and 27 inches, a design choice that also considers visibility for esports.
The monitor adopts an IPS panel, known for its excellent color reproduction and wide viewing angles, and also supports HDR. This specification enhances immersion in game visuals by making images with varying brightness appear more three-dimensional. Furthermore, it is equipped with AI Vision, which automatically adjusts contrast and saturation; FreeSync Premium, which suppresses screen tearing; and Anti-Flicker and Blue Light Cut functions to enhance comfort during long gaming sessions.
