At the XVX Keyboard booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026, various keyboards with different designs and sizes were on display. From compact models to those adorned with unique keycaps, it was a lineup that would make any keyboard enthusiast want to browse around.

XVX is a brand launched in 2018 by a group of keyboard enthusiasts. They offer not only keyboard bodies but also keycaps, switches, and mousepads, and many of their products focus not just on functionality but also on 'how they look on the desk'.

Looking at the brand's lineup, products like the 65% layout 'M67 JadeStone,' the 75% layout 'M75 Lumina,' and the slim 'L75 Air' show a variety in both purpose and design. In Japan, their products are available on Amazon, as well as at stores like HYPESHOP and Yushakobo.

Irresistible, Even When You Know Better! The RGB Glow Is Still Undeniably Striking

And as I looked at the exhibits, what inevitably caught my eye the most were the vividly glowing keyboards. Gaming keyboards and RGB lighting are no longer a rare combination. Yet, when they shine in various colors in a dimly lit booth, your gaze can't help but be drawn to them.

Since 2024, XVX has adopted IMD (In-Mold Decoration) technology for its keyboards and keycaps. This method forms patterns and designs differently from traditional printing, aiming for richer visual expression when combined with RGB lighting.

On their official website, they showcase quite bold designs, including the RGB-enhanced 'M67 JadeStone,' as well as keycaps with a glittery feel and those made from ceramic materials. It gives the impression of a brand that encourages enjoyment not just of a 'glowing gaming keyboard,' but of the materials and patterns as well.

Subtle keyboards are good too. But in a festival-like atmosphere such as TGS, your eyes are inevitably drawn to the dazzlingly bright ones. It was a booth that reminded me anew of the irresistible charm of such gaming devices.
