SoftBank has announced its participation as an AI platformer at "MWC27 Barcelona," to be held in Barcelona, Spain, from March 1-4, 2027. This marks the company's first exhibition, and it highlighted that its booth would be the largest among telecommunications carriers.
SoftBank will also join "MWC Barcelona," the mobile industry's largest event, where domestic carriers like NTT Docomo and KDDI have become active exhibitors. With AI, a key focus for the company, as its main theme, SoftBank plans to showcase services and solutions developed by the company and its group companies, along with examples of effective utilization of network infrastructure.
The exhibition will be structured around four main themes: "AI-Native Network," "AI Cloud Platform," "AI Infrastructure," and "Connected Physical World." Further details are expected to be announced on a special website (https://global.tm.softbank.jp/en/mwc/2027/) in the future.
