SteelSeries, the gaming device brand under the GN Group, has announced its new wireless gaming mice, "Sensei Pro" and "Rival Pro." They are scheduled to be sequentially released starting November 20th at electronics retailers nationwide, Amazon.co.jp, and Rakuten Ichiba. Priced at 33,310 yen, they will be available in two colors, black and white, as well as full-size and Mini versions.

The new products' most significant feature is the adoption of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) wireless technology. Utilizing the 7.25GHz to 9GHz frequency band, it is less susceptible to congestion and interference common in the traditional 2.4GHz band. It also supports a maximum polling rate of 8,000Hz, updating the mouse position up to 8,000 times per second, making it ideal for players who demand quick aiming and precise tracking.
The series consists of two lines: the ambidextrous Sensei Pro and the ergonomically designed Rival Pro, which fits comfortably in hand. Both models are available in full-size and Mini versions, featuring an ultra-lightweight design with the full-size weighing 53g and the Mini at 49g. They also incorporate the Infinite Power System with two swappable batteries, achieving up to 32 hours of continuous use at 8K settings and up to 120 hours at 1K settings. Since one battery can be charged while the other is in use, it helps minimize interruptions during gameplay.

The mice utilize the TrueMove 42K Pro optical sensor, supporting up to 42,000 DPI, and boast high-precision specifications with 800 IPS and 70G acceleration. Furthermore, they feature optical switches with a durability of up to 100 million clicks and a rapid 0.35ms response time. Sensitivity optimization and various customizations can be performed using the dedicated SteelSeries GG software and its web version, SteelSeries GG Web. The black models are scheduled for release on November 20th, with the white models following in mid-December or later.
In conjunction with this, a three-day pop-up event will be held from October 23rd to October 25th at LIFORK AKIHABARA II in Akihabara. Visitors will be able to try out the actual devices and enjoy talk shows by gaming streamers.
