Soracom will begin offering integrated IoT package solutions, from devices to applications, at the SORACOM IoT Store starting October 22. The first offering is Asahi Kogyo Electric's IoT leakage monitoring solution, "Rosui Mihariban," priced at ¥72,600 (shipping extra). Purchases can be made via the SORACOM IoT Store, and it includes three years of usage covering communication, dashboard access, and email notifications.

"Rosui Mihariban" is an IoT solution that continuously monitors for water leaks 24/7, notifying registered contacts via email upon detecting an anomaly. Operation begins simply by connecting the detection band to the main unit, installing it in the desired monitoring location, and pressing a switch. It comes standard with a SORACOM IoT SIM, and a dedicated website allows users to check sensor status and visually identify leak locations.

The package includes one main unit, a 2-meter detection band, a SORACOM IoT SIM, a dashboard for checking leak status, and an email notification function. Its configuration is ideal for managing areas around piping in buildings, factories, and warehouses, as floor plans and other relevant information can be linked to the dedicated website. A key feature is that it includes three years of communication and cloud usage fees, making it ready for immediate use upon deployment.
