JAPANNEXT will release its 50-inch IPS panel-equipped 4K large LCD monitor, the "JN-IPS50U-M," on October 15th. The direct sales price is 61,980 yen. Concurrently, the 3-year warranty model "JN-IPS50U-M-H3" will also be launched on the same day for 65,080 yen, and the 5-year warranty model "JN-IPS50U-M-H5" for 68,180 yen.
The "JN-IPS50U-M" supports 4K resolution at 3840x2160 pixels, providing a display area approximately four times that of Full HD. It features an IPS (SFT) panel with a wide 178-degree viewing angle both horizontally and vertically, ensuring minimal color and contrast shifts even when viewed from an angle. With a brightness of 300cd/㎡ and an sRGB 100% color gamut, it is suitable not only for conference use but also for reviewing photos and video edits.
Video inputs primarily include HDMI 2.0 x3, along with video/audio input terminals, component input terminals, an optical audio output terminal, and USB-A x1. A key feature is its support for USB memory playback, allowing images and videos to be displayed without connecting a PC, making it usable as a simple indoor digital signage solution. Please note that content playback after startup requires remote control operation and does not support automatic playback upon power-on.
The main unit supports VESA 200x200mm mounting, enabling installation with wall mounts or stands. It includes built-in 8W x2 speakers and a bundled remote control. Dimensions are approximately 1111mm (W) x 253mm (D) x 700mm (H), and without the stand, it measures 1111mm (W) x 72mm (D) x 650mm (H). The weight is approximately 9.2kg. The standard model comes with a 2-year warranty, with 3-year and 5-year warranty models also available, offering a lineup that can be chosen according to usage and installation period.
