O'Reilly & Associatesから出版予定の「Zope Book」の早期ドラフトが、www.zope.orgで公開された。これはO'Reillyの編集やテクニカルレビューを経たものではないが、序文を含む12章が無償で提供されており、自由に読むことができる。商用利用や改変・再配布などは許されていないが、Zope Bookの出版後は、OpenContentライセンスの元で公開されるという。
Zopeは、ダイナミックなコンテンツからなるWebサイトを容易に作成できるオブジェクト指向のアプリケーションサーバ。主にスクリプト言語Pythonで記述されており、Apacheに似たオープンソースライセンスを採用している。
