「ＨＤ─ＤＶＤ」は負けたわけではない＝東芝米現法幹部

［ラスベガス ６日 ロイター］ 東芝<6502.T>は６日、米映画大手ワーナー・ブラザーズがソニー<6758.T>などが推す「ブルーレイ・ディスク（ＢＤ）」規格のソフトを採用すると発表したことに関連して、東芝陣営の「ＨＤ─ＤＶＤ」が「負けたわけではない」との認識を示した。
当地で開催された世界最大の家電見本市「コンシューマー・エレクトロニクス・ショー（ＣＥＳ）」で、東芝の米現地法人幹部が会見で述べた。
ただ、同幹部は、タイム・ワーナ<TWX.N>傘下のワーナー・ブラザーズが東芝陣営の「ＨＤ─ＤＶＤ」規格のソフト販売からの撤退を決定したことを受け、今後の明確な方針については言葉を詰まらせた。
