東芝が新型二次電池を発売へ、15年度売上高1000億円目指す

［東京 １１日 ロイター］ 東芝<6502.T>は１１日、新型二次電池を２００８年３月に発売すると発表した。長寿命や急速充放電などが特徴。産業用や車載用を中心にグロバールで事業展開し、２０１５年度には売上高１０００億円規模を目指すとしている。
この二次電池は、負極材、負極と正極の接触を防ぐ隔離版（セパレーター）、電解液の各部材で新開発技術を取り入れた。これにより、急速な充放電を行っても１０年を超える長寿命、５分間で容量の９０％以上の急速充電性能が可能になったとしている。
電動自転車や電動バイク、フォークリフトなど建設機械のほか、非常用電源や電力品質の安定化などの用途への適用ができるという。ハイブリッド自動車や電気自動車への適用も目指すとしている。
